Renovated House

Charles Beck helped bring about this house renovation while working with Moran Hook Architecture in New York. This structure was a small and simple carriage house to a large estate when its owner decided to renovate the carriage house and make it a beautiful and ample residence of its own. Charles helped design and build the resulting house and grounds. The carriage house was completely gutted and renovated, the second story was extended, an addition was added around the back and an English garden and tea house were added around the front, which Charles personally designed. The architectural character of the house was inspired by the original carriage house and the taste of the owner.
